This Privacy Policy describes how NeuralOps ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information, including personal data, through our website located at neuralops.co (the "Website") and through our NeuralOps desktop application (the "Application").
By accessing or using our Website or Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use our Website or Application.

Usage Data: We may also collect information about how the Website is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

1.2 Information Collected via the NeuralOps Application
The NeuralOps Application is designed to monitor employee activity to assist employers in understanding active and inactive work periods. When the Application is active, it collects the following information from the user's device:
Keyboard Activity: We collect data indicating every instance a keyboard key is pressed or clicked. This means we record that a key was pressed, but we do not record the specific character or content of the key pressed (e.g., we record "key pressed" not "the letter 'A' was typed"). This data is used to determine keyboard activity levels. .
Mouse Activity: We collect data indicating every instance the mouse cursor is moved or a mouse button is clicked. This data is used to determine mouse activity levels.
Screenshots: The Application captures screenshots of the user's desktop screen approximately every ten (10) minutes. These screenshots are taken to provide visual context of activity during the monitoring period. The application does not capture visuals from the camera or microphone audio of the user in any state.
Activity Durations: Based on keyboard and mouse activity, the Application calculates and records active duration and inactive duration for each monitoring session.
Session Information: The Application records the start and end times of monitoring sessions.
Important Note: All data collected by the NeuralOps Application (keyboard activity, mouse activity, screenshots, and calculated durations) is associated with the individual employee's account and is primarily intended for review by their employer. The Application's monitoring functionality can be paused and resumed by the user at will, and no data is collected when the Application is in the "off", “inactive”, or "paused" state. The Application does not run in the background when it is shut off.
